Metropolis LAB Project

Kick start your future with just one click

Project description

This project brings business world demands into play with the creation of analytical minds and specialised training, supported by mentors and specialists who help foster entrepreneurship, teamwork, key skills and experimentation. The project merges Innobaix’s Innolab project, the Port of Barcelona’s Port Innova and the project Entra al circuit de la Innovació amb l’FP (Enter into the innovation circuit with VT) from the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, promoting open innovation as a methodological process of high added-value that can be applied to vocational training.

Project objective

The project has three main objectives:

  • To establish a meeting point between businesses and vocational training and education centres with a view to generating economic, social and cultural value in the local metropolis.
  • To have students create innovative projects and develop ideas with a view to proposing improvements that meet the demands of the business world and the local professional fabric.
  • To help students’ potential to flourish and boost their employability and interpersonal skills.
